Chinatown Hotel

Project Background

Located in the heart of Washington, DC's historic Chinatown, 1 block from the Gallery Place metro station and 10 minutes from the National Mall, this 90-unit boutique building combines 7 historic row homes and a nine-story new construction addition to create a one-of-a-kind furnished short-term rental building catering to the growing needs of b-leasure, family, and other group travelers.  This project takes advantage of the site's unique zoning flexibility which enables residential, hospitality, and commercial uses by-right.  Designed by Cunningham | Quill Architects, the project is a perfect combination of historic preservation and new construction.  The location provides effortless access to many of DC's leading employers and key attractions, including museums, the convention center, and Capital One arena.
